PranaprAna, an ancient Sanskrit word for breath, life and vitality of the spirit, has helped guide our actions and lift our aspirations since day one. We started out 17 years ago making clothing that worked well for climbing and yoga. It turned out that the clothing worked well for lots of other passions too, so we added new products with “purpose” in mind and scoured the world for design inspiration. |

ibexIbex Outdoor Clothing. When people discover that we originated* in Woodstock, we always have to point out, no, not that Woodstock. Our version is in Vermont. It’s a village of quaint homes and country stores, all surrounded by breathtaking mountains, farms and rivers. We bike over a covered bridge to a workplace where dogs greet our guests. It’s the perfect setting, actually, for the spirit of the artisan to flourish. |

SmartwoolSmartWool was born with comfort in mind. Our founders were New England ski instructors struggling to keep their feet warm. After trying a variety of materials, they rediscovered an age-old classic: wool. But while these socks may have been warm, they were itchy and shrank. So they worked on a process to make them soft and easy care. SmartWool was born on a simple belief: keeping feet comfortable on the slopes. |
