Classes will meet 5:30 – 6:30 each Tuesday in May; the fee is $20 for the series of four classes; beginners are welcome.

Spring is here! Revitalize your body and mind in this four-week yoga workshop, held each Tuesday night in May at the Nature’s Closet on Spring Street. We will review the basic yoga asanas (poses), explore a few “flow” sequences, do some pranayama (yoga breathing techniques) and try a bit of meditation. Renew your energy, bring strength and flexibility to your body, and let go of stress as you explore the beauty of yoga.

About Yoga Instructor MARY EDGERTON:

I currently teach yoga at Williams and really enjoy working with this group of intellectually curious, engaged students! I lived in the UK with my family for the past eight years, did my yoga teacher training there, and taught yoga in London for several years until we relocated back to the US. I love being back in the Berkshires in a community of such active people. Yoga has impacted my life in a powerful way – no matter where I am, it makes me feel grounded, clear-headed, strong, and flexible. I love sharing this dynamic practice with my students!

This show is a fundraiser for the Ski and Snowboard Club

One for the Road is an HD ski film that follows some of the world’s most progressive snow sports athletes as it documents their lives on the road and captures some of the most stunning riding to date. Road trips are an integral part of every adventurer’s life and a conduit to define one’s being. Journeys to new lands shed light on each skier’s personal mission. Whether shredding with long time ski partners, or meeting a seasoned character in some far off country, wisdom is gained through these new experiences. The road trip is a metaphor for every skier’s existence.
